description
Impressive estate consisting of a farm with a total of approximately 400 ha of land, a prestigious historic villa perfectly restored and furnished and three farmhouses to be restored.
The farm's land is divided into 30 ha of Chianti D.O.C.G. vineyards, 14 ha of Tuscan I.G.P. olive groves, 50 ha of arable land, woods and pastures ideal for hunting reserves and about 3 ha of truffle ground.
The restored and finely furnished historical complex, consisting of a villa and annexes, has a surface area of over 5000 m2.
The Villa, protected by a large wall, contains a large Italian-style garden of about 4 ha, where there is a 10x20 m swimming pool with solarium and bar pavilion, a tennis/football court and a helicopter landing zone.
The 3000 m2 villa building includes a wine cellar, restaurant, tavern, reading room, lounges, a meeting room for 80 guests and 24 frescoed suites (2 or 4 guests each), all including a living room.
The annexes, located opposite to the Villa and covering a further 2000 m2, contain 16 flats for 4/6 guests each. The wellness centre, inside the ancient, vaulted cellars, consists of 4 treatment cabins, jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and emotional shower.
The history of the 16th-century villa, handed down over the centuries by the Marchesi della Stufa and the noble Albergotti and Persichetti families, is told by the frescoes in the salons and the architecture of the impressive apses of the inner church, forms of the ancient Benedictine abbey dating back to the year 1000.
Within the large Italian garden, the project for a 550 m2 'Winter Garden' style pavilion for events and meetings was approved.
The agricultural company is equipped with modern machinery for the smooth running of farm activities, which is housed in the new 600 m2 farm centre for the storage of extra virgin olive oil, the office and the caretaker's house.
The old farmhouses to be restored, overlooking the beautiful newly planted Chianti vineyards, have a total area of approximately 7500 m2.
